Job Description
Summary Description:
• Prioritize and plan maintenance activities for the Activated Carbon and Char plants;
• Develop and update job plans for all plant maintenance activities;
• Utilize the Work Management Process to develop a 3 month rolling schedule, from which the weekly schedule is
generated;
• Manage the work order backlog;
• Maintain plant equipment filing system and work order filing system;
• Manage the preventive and predictive maintenance systems for plant equipment (e.g. oil analysis, vibration analysis,
condition based monitoring);
• Provide required information for weekly and daily planning meetings;
• Ordering of labor and material for planned work as required; and
• Update Hazard Assessments as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with a focus on maintenance or systems management.
- Special courses in statistics, mathematics, computer systems, mine engineering, mechanical engineering, maintenance management, etc.
- Familiarity of statistical modeling, equipment maintenance, computerized maintenance management systems, planning and scheduling, and efficiency analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and manufacturing systems
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
